Prior to founding the company, Johan Meyer was involved for a period of 20 years as a professional photographer principally working in the field of advertising photography and then progressing into the private sector producing video productions as cameraman / director / editor.

Johan Meyer's son. Andre, joined Meyer Productions permanently in 2006. Andre took over the reins of Meyer Productions in 2010. Born into a creative family, Andre's child experience observing photographic design and video production in action, has peaked his interest into a passion to become a world class professional photographer and TV producer.



The editing/post-production facilities are housed in a dedicated studio at Richards Bay, using computerized editing and sound equipment, as well as state-of-the-art software.

Over the past years, Meyer Productions has been involved in video and photographic productions all over South Africa; on the ground, under water and in the air, commissioned by major South African organizations.
