About Us

Meyer Productions commenced operations in 1985 as a professional video production company based in Mtunzini, just south of Richards Bay with Johan Meyer as its founder.

Prior to founding the company, Johan Meyer was involved for a period of 20 years as a professional photographer principally working in the field of advertising photography and then progressing into the private sector producing video productions as cameraman / director / editor.

Meyer Productions shoots video's using Full HD 1080p Format quality cameras and attendant equipment (lights, tripods, mircrophones, reflectors etc.)

The editing/post-production facilities are housed in a dedicated studio at Mtunzini, using computerized editing and sound equipment, as well as state-of-the-art software.

The company employs freelance and full-time specialists in the fields of:
- Editing
- Camera work
- Computer Graphic Design
- Copy writing
- Script writing and production

Over the past years, Meyer Productions has been involved in video productions all over South Africa; on the ground, under water and in the air, commissioned by major South African organizations.
